Claire Mason

  • Associate Investigator
  • CSIRO CINTEL

Claire’s applied research in CSIRO’s Data61 supports agility and resilience in the Australian workforce by capturing novel sources of data about the changing labour market which inform the choices of job seekers, educators and employment services providers. More generally her research explores the opportunities and challenges associated with our increased reliance on digital technology across a range of contexts – in our homes and businesses, in our jobs, in vocational education and training, in regions and in later life. She also explores how social, organisational and institutional factors influence data practices and in turn, our opportunities for data driven innovation.

Claire’s research has been covered by mainstream media outlets such as the ABC’s 7:30 Report, The Australian, The Financial Review and The Conversation and published in scientific journals such as the Journal of Applied Psychology, PLOS One, Leadership Quarterly, Journal of Organizational Behavior, Journal of Occupational Health Psychology and Small Group Research.
