Nisar Ahmed Channa

Nisar Ahmed Channa is a PhD Researcher in the Human-Robot Workforce research program at the Australian Cobotics Centre at the Queensland University of Technology. His research spans technology management, organizational resilience, sustainable human resource management practices, and organizational behaviour.

He holds a Master of Science in Management from Sukkur IBA University and previously served as a Lecturer in Business Administration at the same institution. Mr. Channa actively contributes to the academic community as editorial board member and reviewer for several prestigious journals. His research aims to bridge the gap between technological innovation and organizational adaptability, fostering sustainable and ethical business practices.

His research explores the dynamics of organizational behavior, technological adoption, and human-robot collaboration, with publications in top-tier academic journals and presentations at leading international conferences. Mr. Channa has published extensively in high-impact journals, and his work has earned accolades, including the Best Doctoral Research Poster Award at the Australia and New Zealand Academy of Management (ANZAM) 2024 Conference.

In parallel with his doctoral work, he works as a Sessional Academic at the Queensland University of Technology, where he teaches and mentors in the areas of technology-driven management and future of work.

Thesis Title

Project 5.2: Workforce and Technology Issues in Adoption of Cobots in Manufacturing » Australian Cobotics Centre | ARC funded ITTC for Collaborative Robotics in Advanced Manufacturing

Through multiple interrelated studies this project will investigate the manufacturing processes, business models, and organizational and work practices required for adoption of Cobots in manufacturing.
