WHEN: 16 Oct
WHERE: Zoom
Join Postdoctoral Researcher, Dr Anthony Franze, as he presents on behalf of Müge Belek Fialho Teixeira and the research team at the upcoming ACC public seminar on Thursday, 16 October.
Anthony will share insights from the project From Digital Design to Human Robot Collaborative Masonry Construction, which is pioneering the use of collaborative robots (cobots) and augmented reality (AR) to transform bricklaying on construction sites.
In partnership with Brickworks Building Products, Building 4.0 CRC, and the ARM Hub, the project is developing intuitive systems that enable human-robot collaboration (HRC), reduce physical strain on workers, and support a sustainable, diverse future for the bricklaying profession. Working alongside Queensland’s own Armstrong Bricklaying, the team is co-designing practical solutions that respond directly to the needs of skilled labour on site.
