We’re proud to congratulate James Dwyer on winning the Robotics Australia Group Excellence in Robotics Award (Industrial Robotics – Pre‑commercial). This national recognition highlights his innovative work on the Kinematic Puppet.
Congratulations also to our outstanding finalists:
- Zongyuan Zhang (QUT) – Acoustic Feedback for Robotic Grinding
- Mariadas Capsran Roshan (Swinburne University) and Edgar Mauricio Hidalgo Florez (Swinburne University of Technology) – Universal Shower Base and Ultrasound projects
The event also sparked a mini ACC reunion, with former UTS postdoc Fouad (Fred) Sukkar joining the celebrations.
Thank you to the Robotics Australia Group, especially former CEO Nicci Rossouw and Chair Sue Keay, for hosting a fantastic awards night and expo.
