An exciting public seminar was held to explore safety in robotics, cobots, and emerging technologies. The seminar was open to anyone with an interest in tech safety and collaboration.

Carin Håkansta from Karolinska Institutet (Sweden) joined the event to share insights from the ALGOSH project, covering:
🔹 The formation of an international, interdisciplinary research team
🔹 Research goals and initial findings
🔹 Strategies for engaging stakeholders and achieving societal impact

Carin, a researcher at the Unit of Occupational Medicine at Karolinska Institutet, holds a PhD in Human Work Science and has extensive experience studying how digital technology affects work and worker health.

About ALGOSH
ALGOSH – Algorithmic Management at Work – is a six-year international project examining the challenges, opportunities, and strategies for occupational safety, health, and well-being.

The project workshops brought together experts in OHS and well-being, including Emeritus Professor Michael Quinlan from UNSW, along with leading researchers on algorithmic management from across Europe, Canada, and the USA. Representatives from the ETUI, the International Labour Organisation, Swedish policy advisors, and project industry partners also participated.
