Seminar Series: Project 3.6 – XR Application for Cobot Interaction and Workflow Optimisation

WHEN: 03 Apr

WHERE: Zoom

Earlier in the month, Postdoctoral Research Fellow from QUT (Queensland University of Technology), Dr Alan Burden delivered an engaging seminar on the use of augmented reality simulations to support cobot workflows.

Dr Burden presented an overview of Project 3.6, a collaborative translation project between the Australian Cobotics Centre, QUT (Queensland University of Technology) researchers, and B&R Enclosures.

This session explored the development of an XR-guided cobotic system, highlighting research methods, technical processes, and key findings. Attendees will gain insight into how spatial interaction, robot integration, and real-world deployment shape the future of cobotics. This is a great opportunity to see how design research, robotics, and interactive media intersect in industry-relevant settings.
