Elena Vella received her PhD, M.S., and B.S. in Mechatronics from the University of Melbourne, Australia. She is currently a Research Fellow in Robotics and AI at the CTMT Lab, Swinburne University of Technology. Her research integrates robotics and creative practice to develop interactive systems that engage the public with robotic technologies. Through multimodal human–robot interaction, her work explores how people can learn from, teach, and collaborate with robots in meaningful ways.
In this talk, she will examine how practice-led creative approaches can contribute to robotics research, offering new perspectives on collaboration and engagement between humans and robots. Register below.
