Merryn joined the Centre in January 2021 and oversees the Centre’s business operations, including finance, governance, communications and reporting.
Prior to joining the Centre, she held roles at Queensland University of Technology within the Australian Centre for Robotic Vision and the QUT Centre for Robotics, supporting the delivery of major research initiatives through operational coordination, stakeholder engagement and communications management.
Before relocating to Australia in 2020, Merryn worked in the UK at University College London, where she managed an IT Project Support team, and with the UK National Health Service, coordinating the national recruitment of trainee surgeons across the NHS.
Merryn brings extensive experience across operations, project delivery and organisational management, with a strong focus on continuous improvement, strategic coordination and enabling high-performing teams and organisations.
