Lauren Sherlock

Lauren graduated from Queensland University of Technology (QUT) with a Bachelor of Fine Arts (Dance Performance) and has completed a Royal Academy of Dance Teacher’s Accreditation. In 2017 she completed a Bachelor of Arts Honours (Dance) at LINK Dance Company and Edith Cowan University in Western Australia.
She has worked across a wide range of professional and community dance projects nationally and internationally as a choreographer, dance artist and educator. Professional highlights include working with Dr Louis-Philippe Demers and Dr Steph Hutchison as a QUT Alumni performing in Repeat (2019) at the Elektra Digital Arts Festival in Canada and choreographed and performed in The Human Theremin (2023) in Brisbane.
Lauren is a PhD researcher associated with the Australian Cobotics Centre and DP Moving with Robots project. Her research investigates choreographic and somatic methods to inform the development of embodied intelligence for human-robot interaction.
